About The Position

This internship is offered to individuals who have completed their freshman year and have the basic mechanical aptitude and Microsoft Office Suite skills. American Crystal Sugar Company offers an environment that will expose a student to hands-on experience during our inter-campaign season while we perform maintenance at all five factories. Interns will complete pressure vessel testing at each factory to ensure state compliance. The process includes thickness testing inside equipment while obtaining safety precautions. Interns may be exposed to confined spaces.

Requirements

• Completed freshman year of college.
• Basic mechanical aptitude.
• Microsoft Office Suite skills.
• Efficiency in Excel.
• Willingness to be exposed to confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Complete pressure vessel testing at each factory to ensure state compliance.
• Perform thickness testing inside equipment while obtaining safety precautions.
