About The Position

Model Cocktail Server, Zouk is responsible for beverage service of all VIP tables and seating areas in a high-volume restaurant, bar, lounge or pool. This role involves greeting, serving, and interacting with guests courteously and in a timely manner with an upbeat attitude. The server will respond to guest inquiries, requests, concerns, and complaints regarding beverages, and will resolve them in a courteous and respectful manner. Anticipating guest needs and informing them about venues, menus, specials, pricing, and directions is also a key part of the role. The position requires strong knowledge of portion control and product identification, as well as knowledge of food, beverages, and other company functions and services. Recognizing and cultivating regular guests and repeat business is important. The server must maintain line of sight/atmosphere control by circulating through their work area throughout the shift, and organize and prioritize service per appropriate service sequence, ensuring prompt delivery of all beverages. Compliance with all safety and health department procedures and all state and federal liquor laws is mandatory. Additionally, the role includes participation in in-house modeling programs, special casino events, banquet service functions, marketing campaigns, and advertising, performing model/presenter tasks. This includes assisting in the development of promotional plans to increase business levels and sales, posing for pictures as requested by management, appearing in uniform or designated apparel for promotional activities, and participating in marketing, publicity, or media materials. Maintaining social platforms as indicated by management, posting events, communications, and participating in marketing campaigns via social media is also required. The ability to submit guests to the venue's guest list, table reservations, and focus on the development of a personal clientele list is expected. Obtaining and maintaining position-specific licensing is required. The use of a personal device/cellular phone for job-related operational tasks, job duties, review of company documents, etc., is also part of the role. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Ability to work varied shifts, including nights, weekends and holidays.
  • Ability to effectively communicate in English.
  • Polished appearance and demeanor.
  • Excellent customer service skills.
  • Ability to obtain maintain full knowledge and understanding of company and department rules and regulations, policies and procedures.
  • At least 21 years of age.
  • At least one year of customer service experience.
  • Proof of eligibility to work in the United States.
  • Food Handler Card
  • Alcohol Awareness Card
  • Nevada Gaming Registration

Nice To Haves

  • Working knowledge of POS system (ex: Micros, UrVenue, etc.).
  • Employ with safe alcohol service, sanitation and safety protocol.
  • Strong knowledge of spirits, wine, champagne, beer and mixed cocktails.
  • Previous experience working in a dayclub and or nightclub.
  • Previous experience modeling and beverage presentation.
  • Previous experience working in a large, luxury resort setting.
