About The Position

The Cocktail Server is responsible for obtaining an assigned section/station from the Food & Beverage Shift Supervisor at the start of the work shift. The Cocktail Server receives drink and/or food orders from guests by up selling and suggestive selling by answering any questions about the specials offered. Must know how to relay the orders to the Bartender and/or culinary staff by swiping the micros card. Responsible for serving the order to the guest, collecting money, and making change. The Cocktail Server is accountable for observing guests to ensure their expectations are exceeded. The Cocktail server will be RBS certified and practice this knowledge daily. Accountable for maintaining, stocking and cleanliness of their assigned sections, also displaying teamwork with co-workers when needed in other sections. The Cocktail Server is responsible for all monies collected, waste tickets, comp tickets and charge tickets needed for their drop procedure at the end of the shift. The Cocktail Server may be required to assist in other departments when necessary or for training. Maintaining Title 31 Compliance accurately. Other duties as assigned.

Requirements

  • Must be age 21 or older.
  • Must qualify for Tribal Non-Gaming License.
  • Must be able to communicate in the primary language of the work location.
  • Knowledge of bar drinks and wines helpful.
  • Must be outgoing, with a pleasant personality and strong sense of guest service.
  • Must be able to perform simple mathematical calculations.
  • Must be able to stand and exert fast-paced mobility for periods of up to four (4) hours in length.
  • Must have a good sense of balance, be able to bend and kneel.
  • Must be able to lift trays of drinks frequently weighing up to 20 pounds.

Nice To Haves

  • High school diploma or GED preferred.
