About The Position

The SHOW comes alive at MGM Resorts International. We seek individuals like YOU to create unique and show-stopping experiences for our guests. It is the primary responsibility of the Service Attendant to expedite guests' drink orders and provide beverage and bus service. All duties are to be performed in accordance with departmental and company policies, practices, and procedures.

Requirements

• Is 21+ years of age
• High School Diploma, GED or equivalent Required
• Work varied shifts, to include weekends and holidays Required
• 1+ Years of Prior Relevant Experience (Cocktail and guest service experience) Required

Responsibilities

• Take order, serve food and drinks efficiently and accurately in work area as applicable
• Place order, garnish and serve cocktails to guests
• Collect money, while following all proper cash handling and comp procedures
• Answer telephone in service areas and direct calls where necessary
• Maintain cleanliness and stock of assigned areas, side stations and tables
• Promote and maintain the highest level of service to all guests while staying alert to their needs and respond effectively to guest inquiries
• Resolve guest complaints within scope of authority; otherwise, refer the matter to management, notify supervisor and/or Security of all unusual events, circumstances, missing items, or alleged theft
