COCKTAIL SERVER- PT
About The Position
The Cocktail Server provides fast, friendly, and courteous service to every customer by taking and serving beverage orders. The position works in an assigned area, such as the bar or casino floor, and includes greeting guests, offering drink recommendations, coordinating orders with the bartender, serving alcoholic and non-alcoholic beverages, and handling payments and change. Other duties may be assigned. Applicants must be at least 21 years old and have a high school diploma or GED, at least one year of Cocktail Server experience, and basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages. The role requires familiarity with tray service and guest charge procedures, as well as the ability to communicate in English. Employees must be able to stand for long periods, bend, stoop, and twist while serving, and regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds. The position requires weekend, holiday, and any-shift availability. A background check, gaming license from the Robinson Rancheria Gaming Commission when required for gaming operations, and annual Title 31 exam are also required. Qualified Robinson Rancheria tribal members receive employment preference.
Requirements
- High school diploma or GED.
- At least 21 years of age.
- At least one year of experience as a Cocktail Server.
- Basic knowledge of alcoholic beverages.
- Ability to provide correct change and knowledge of guest charge procedures.
- Familiarity with tray service.
- Ability to stand for long periods of time.
- Ability to bend, stoop, and twist while serving beverages.
- Ability to regularly lift and carry up to 20 pounds.
- Ability to speak, read, and write English.
- Willingness to work weekends, holidays, and any shift.
- Ability to pass a background check and obtain a Robinson Rancheria Gaming Commission gaming license as required for gaming operations.
- Must pass an annual Title 31 exam.
