The role involves operating and calibrating robotic plasma-cutting equipment, programming cut paths, adjusting cutting parameters for different materials, handling metal components, inspecting finished parts, and performing routine maintenance and basic troubleshooting. The position is performed in an industrial or manufacturing shop-floor environment and involves following safety procedures for hazards such as fumes, UV light, and high heat.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED.
  • At least 1 year of experience operating CNC machinery, robotic plasma cutters, or metal fabrication equipment.
  • Proficiency in reading blueprints, technical drawings, and geometric dimensioning and tolerancing (GD&T).
  • Understanding of G-code, M-code, or cobot tablet programming.
  • Basic mechanical and electrical troubleshooting abilities.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced industrial or manufacturing shop floor, stand for long periods, and lift or move metal components as required.
