About The Position
Our client in Dallas is actively hiring Coating Technicians to support their production team. This role is hands-on, fast-paced, and ideal for someone who enjoys physical, detail-oriented work in a manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Must pass a drug test.
- Must have a valid ID.
- Must be legally eligible to work in the U.S.
- No felonies.
Nice To Haves
- No specialized or powder coating experience required.
- Experience with chemicals is a plus.
- Forklift experience is a plus.
Responsibilities
- Apply catalytic WashCoat (water-based, paint-like material) to ceramic or metallic substrates using dipping or pouring methods.
- Record weights by entering numeric data into a computer database.
- Load coated substrates into a batching oven and unload/pack completed substrates onto pallets.
- Perform ancillary tasks including: Laser etching codes onto substrates, Applying insulation tape around coated substrates, Maintaining coating stations and keeping equipment clean.
- Lift and handle materials up to 50 lbs (role involves significant manual labor).
