About The Position

Pentagon Technologies, Inc. is a leader in providing mission-critical semiconductor services. We are seeking outstanding candidates to join our team! As a Coating Operator, you will work to resurface and texturize customer supplied parts using a spray nozzle as specified by work order instructions. This role is initially offered as a temporary position. Successful candidates who demonstrate strong performance may have the opportunity to convert to a full-time, direct employee after completing the contract period.

Requirements

• Proficient at operating a blasting nozzle.
• Know proper blasting pressures as they relate to specifications for any particular part(s).
• Ability to be able to handle delicate parts large or small without damaging.
• Knowledge of how to read and understand prints.
• Has basic math and measurement skills.
• Understands warping of parts along with acceptable roughness measurements and how to take such measurements.
• Has an appreciation for timeliness, quality, and punctuality.
• Maintains organization and cleanliness of assigned areas.
• Employee will be trained in, and is to follow and lead by example, all general safety requirements of Pentagon Technologies as well as specific safety regulatory requirements.

Responsibilities

• Prepare surfaces by selecting appropriate media and settings based on material type and desired finish.
• Blast parts with some deposition and surfacing parts to specific specifications.
• Understand and follow operating procedures as assigned to the team to assure consistent, reliable, and timely processing of parts within this team.
• Work closely with the other departments regarding reworking and communication for incoming/outgoing parts.
• Interact with other blasters regarding jobs that require more than one person to complete.
