About The Position
The Coater utility acts as a “floater” for the coating line – fill in for positions when employees are absent, cover employees’ positions during break times, assist with housekeeping, and provide leads and supervisor with assistance as requested. This position will be night shift (Monday-Thursday 7p-7a).
Requirements
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure
- Ability to solve practical problems
- Ability to read and understand documents such as SOPs and Safety Data Sheets
- Ability to communicate effectively with leads and supervisor
Responsibilities
- Fill in at position if an employee is absent
- Empty trash cans in department as needed
- Make boxes for waste and recyclable materials
- Strap broken sew-on cores for disposal
- Provide scheduled breaks for the sew-on and console positions
- Perform specific autonomous maintenance tasks
- Assist coater leads and supervisor with line stoppages
- Train employees as necessary
- Follow company policies, safety procedures, and industry regulations to ensure a safe and efficient work environment
