New Coal Miner
About The Position
JENNMAR Services is hiring experienced and inexperienced underground coal miners in Hillsboro, Illinois. These are full-time positions with pay ranging from $20.00 per hour for inexperienced miners to $22.00 per hour for experienced miners. Candidates without certification may attend the company's next free 40-hour MSHA class. Responsibilities
- Perform general labor.
- Change rollers and screens.
- Perform belt work.
- Install or work with steel sets.
- Perform overcast work.
- Work with jacks.
- Prepare seals.
- Work with pumpable cribs.
- Operate a scoop.
- Perform bolting.
- Perform other laborer duties as required.
