About The Position

Soccer Shots is seeking an energetic, dependable, and organized Coaching & Program Coordinator to lead by example and support our coaches, programs, families, and community partners. This full-time, hands-on leadership role combines approximately 20 hours of coaching per week with coach development, scheduling, program operations, partner support, and light sales responsibilities. For the right candidate, this position offers the opportunity to take on increasing responsibility and grow toward an Assistant Director role. Soccer Shots is an engaging soccer program for children ages 2–8. Through age-appropriate instruction and positive encouragement, we help children build confidence, develop skills, and enjoy being active. We change lives. We help children grow. We care—a lot.

  • Ability to pass required background checks.
  • Passion for youth development and the Soccer Shots mission.

Nice To Haves

  • Leadership, teaching, coaching, childcare, customer service, sales, or soccer experience is preferred.
  • Soccer expertise is helpful but not required—we can teach the game and curriculum.

Responsibilities

  • Coach approximately 20 hours of Soccer Shots sessions each week.
  • Create a safe, positive, and engaging experience for children ages 2–8.
  • Recruit, interview, onboard, train, and support coaches.

  • Manage coach communication, scheduling, and coverage through Sling.
  • Maintain coach evaluations, background checks, training records, and other documentation.
  • Help coaches transition successfully into new partner locations.
  • Build positive relationships with families, schools, childcare centers, and site directors.
  • Check in with current partners to support satisfaction, retention, and program growth.
  • Follow up on warm leads and inquiries from prospective partner locations.
  • Assist with introductory meetings, demonstrations, renewals, and enrollment questions.
  • Track partner outreach and follow-up activity in the CRM.
  • Identify opportunities to increase enrollment, add classes, and expand to new locations.
  • Participate in open houses, community events, and program promotions.
  • Support preseason logistics, equipment preparation, marketing materials, registration, and team meetings.
