About The Position

At Affirmative Parenting Solutions, we offer a unique BCBA position focused on high-impact, 1-on-1 Caregiver Coaching. This role eliminates the need for managing RBTs or direct client caseloads, allowing BCBAs to focus on empowering parents. The position combines behavioral science with neurodiversity-affirming and trauma-informed practices to help families build stronger connections. We offer high-rate flexibility, complete schedule control, and the freedom to concentrate on parent empowerment.

Requirements

• Current BCBA certification in good standing.
• Active Texas Licensed Behavior Analyst (LBA) license through TDLR.
• Based in Texas.
• Treat parents as equal partners.
• Communicate without heavy clinical jargon.
• Bring deep empathy to tough family situations.
• At least 2 years post-certification experience with a heavy focus on parent consultation and family-centered coaching.

• In-person capability/preference for local family touchpoints.

Responsibilities

• Lead 1:1 coaching sessions (virtually and in-person) that break down complex behavioral strategies into realistic, practical daily routines.
• Design strengths-based plans that fit the family’s real-world dynamic.
• Teach parents why behaviors happen and give them the confidence to handle tough moments.
• Focus on meaningful family metrics, adjusting strategies based on real caregiver feedback and real-world results.
