About The Position

The Department of Athletics at California State University, San Bernardino (CSUSB) is seeking a Part-Time Coaching Assistant for the Baseball program, specifically focusing on the Pitching Coach role. This temporary position involves assisting the Head Baseball Coach in all facets of operating a NCAA Division II Baseball program. Responsibilities include student-athlete recruitment, coaching, maintaining a strong academic environment, student-athlete enhancement activities, ensuring compliance with NCAA, conference, and institutional regulations, student retention, managing scholarship and operations budgets, fundraising, organizing practices, and developing season and competition schedules. CSUSB is a diverse, equity-focused institution serving approximately 20,000 students, with a strong commitment to community engagement and a successful NCAA Division II athletics program competing in the California Collegiate Athletic Association (CCAA).

Requirements

• Minimum 4 years of coaching experience at the collegiate level or higher.
• Bachelor's Degree.
• CPR/AED Certification (must be completed within 90 days of hire date).

• Coaching Assistant 12-Month base salary: $6288 - $7658 per month/$75,456 - $91,896 per year
• Anticipated part-time salary - $22,000-$28,000/year (Actual Salary will be in accordance with percentage of time appointed)
