About The Position
This is a coaching position for North High School and East High School. Specific roles include Varsity Boy's Basketball Head Coach, Modified Girl's Soccer Head Coach, Varsity Gymnastics Assistant Coach, Modified Cross-Country Head Coach, Junior Varsity Field Hockey Head Coach, Junior Varsity Boy's Soccer Head Coach, and Modified Football Assistant Coach. Salary ranges are provided for each position.
Requirements
- NYS Teaching Certification or Coaching Certification or Temporary Coaching License (for non-teachers)
- Current First Aid, CPR & AED
- Fingerprinting clearance
- SAVE, DASA, Child Abuse Workshop, GCN Training
- Additional requirements apply as per NYS regulations & district expectations.
- Certification for compensation as an athletic coach by a public school district is required by NYS Education Law Sections 3001 and 3009 and Part 80 of Regulations of the Commissioner of Education.
