Coach Positions - Jefferson School 2026-2027
About The Position
Jefferson School is hiring basketball and soccer coaches for the 2026–2027 school year. Available assignments include boys’ and girls’ teams in grades 4–5, grade 6, and grades 7–8. Applicants should identify the position they are applying for in their cover letter. Coaching cannot begin until all certificates and required materials have been completed and submitted. Candidates must meet the minimum requirements and complete a successful interview and reference check. Three references are required, including the candidate’s most recent supervisor. Requirements
- Coaching or playing experience.
- Organizational skills.
- Ability to communicate with elementary- and middle-school-level students.
- Ability to teach skills and drills at the high school level.
- Ability to work well with others.
- CPR/First Aid card.
- Current TB test.
- Fingerprinting required by the district.
- Successful interview and reference check.
- Three references, including the most recent supervisor.
- Submit a letter of introduction identifying the position applied for, three current letters of recommendation, and a resume listing all coaching experience.
