About The Position

Coach Across America (CAA) is seeking CAA Ambassadors – current or former athletes, coaches, sports/business leaders, sports psychology professionals, and sport/exercise educators – to expand the visibility, resources, and impact of CAA’s sports-based youth mentoring programs in under-resourced communities. Founded in 2010, Coach Across America is a national nonprofit organization that is focused on the power of coaches to transform the lives of our nation’s most vulnerable youth, and the communities they live in, through sports. Coach Across America is based on a simple premise: That highly trained coaches can be among the most transformative adults in young people’s lives and inspire their success on the field, in the classroom, and in life.

Responsibilities

• Serve as a spokesperson, co-create social media content, and lead local advocacy campaigns to highlight the need for coach-mentors.
• Author blog posts, participate in digital campaigns, and lead efforts for CAA’s annual #ThanksCoach campaign.
• Attend CAA trainings and partner events; lead webinars on topics like mental health in sports, gender equity, and youth development.
• Facilitate introductions to corporate and foundation partners, host fundraising events, and lead peer-to-peer fundraising efforts.
