About The Position

UMass Memorial Medical Group has openings for several BC/BE Urologic Surgeons to join our expanding Department of Urology. As the clinical partner of UMass Chan Medical School in Worcester, MA, UMass Memorial Health offers a variety of practice opportunities across academic, community-based, hybrid, and surgicalist settings. With various multiple practice models available, we offer the flexibility to build a practice that aligns with your clinical interests and professional goals.

Requirements

• Board-certified or board-eligible in Urology
• MD or DO with eligibility for Massachusetts medical licensure

Nice To Haves

• Fellowship training in a subspecialty with demonstrated clinical experience, if required
• Commitment to excellence in patient care, collaboration, and education

Responsibilities

• General urology with opportunities for subspecialty focus; oncology, BPH, prostate cancer, and endourology/stone disease
• Community practice with academic appointment at UMass Chan Medical School and teaching opportunities if desired
• Ability to rotate in community and academic campuses if desired
• Flexibility to pursue clinical, research, and program development interests
• Inpatient, emergency, and operative urologic care
• Hospital-based practice without an outpatient panel
• Urethral reconstruction, voiding dysfunction, and complex urinary tract reconstruction
• Academic teaching opportunities
