Co-Teacher or Assistant for Infant Toddler & Twos Department

The Infant, Toddler, Twos classroom sets the tone for our entire school. It is where trust begins. It is where families exhale. It is where children experience their first structured environment outside the home. At Primrose School of Stafford at Embrey Mill, we are building something enduring — a school where excellence, safety, and family partnership are non-negotiable. We are seeking an experienced Co-Teacher or assistants who understands that infants & toddlers rely completely on the adults around them — and who honors that responsibility with attentiveness, warmth, and consistency. This is not daycare -- rather a Private Preschool, where early childhood education is delivered with discipline and heart. Our top priority is delivering a great experience for children, their families, and the broader community.
Requirements
- Deeply patient and attentive to subtle cues
- Emotionally regulated and calm under repetitive, high-needs conditions
- Experienced in infant & toddler development (3-5 years strongly preferred)
- Skilled in building trust with families — especially first-time parents
- Ready to help establish and uphold a high standard in a growing school
- Energized by the opportunity to be a Founding Member of our team—helping to anchor our culture and set the gold standard
- Strong attendance & reliability is critical for our children.
Nice To Haves
- Degree in Early Childhood Education or related field preferred
- CDA considered
- Pursuing Higher Education
Responsibilities
- Follow individualized feeding, sleep, and care schedules with precision -Infants Only
- Build secure attachments through attuned, responsive interaction
- Assistant with observation and documentation of developmental milestones
- Communicate proactively and clearly with families each day
- Maintain exceptional sanitation and safety standards
- Deliver Primrose’s exclusive Balanced Learning® curriculum through age-appropriate engagement
- Support the classroom with emotional steadiness and a consistent presence - Strong attendance & reliability is critical for our children.
