About The Position

This Industrial Engineering Co-Op Student position offers valuable experience and direct exposure to manufacturing operations in a high-tech environment. Requirements

  • Pursuit of a Bachelor's (3rd and 4th year students) degree in Industrial Engineering
  • Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week in Canada, for a 4, 8 or 12 month term starting September 2026
  • Willing to work in a plant environment
  • Flexible working hours (shift work, weekends, and overtime to meet business needs)
  • Must be enrolled in a Co-op or Internship program and meet the program’s eligibility requirements
  • Must be legally entitled to work in Canada
  • Only apply if you do not need sponsorship to work in Canada now or in the future.

Nice To Haves

  • Prior manufacturing experience
  • Knowledge of production environments
  • Experience in the automotive industry
  • AutoCAD would be an asset

Responsibilities

  • Direct labour, line balancing, layout and cost savings
  • Indirect labour, line balancing, layout and efficiency analysis
  • Special projects, labour savings, suggestion processing, and GMS workshop
  • Dealing with people, working under time constraints, design, and practical implementation of university learning.
