About The Position
This Industrial Engineering Co-Op Student position offers valuable experience and direct exposure to manufacturing operations in a high-tech environment. Requirements
- Pursuit of a Bachelor's (3rd and 4th year students) degree in Industrial Engineering
- Able to work fulltime, 40 hours per week in Canada, for a 4, 8 or 12 month term starting September 2026
- Willing to work in a plant environment
- Flexible working hours (shift work, weekends, and overtime to meet business needs)
- Must be enrolled in a Co-op or Internship program and meet the program’s eligibility requirements
- Must be legally entitled to work in Canada

Nice To Haves
- Prior manufacturing experience
- Knowledge of production environments
- Experience in the automotive industry
- AutoCAD would be an asset
Responsibilities
- Direct labour, line balancing, layout and cost savings
- Indirect labour, line balancing, layout and efficiency analysis
- Special projects, labour savings, suggestion processing, and GMS workshop
- Dealing with people, working under time constraints, design, and practical implementation of university learning.
