About The Position

Info-Tech Research Group is seeking a Co-op Software Developer for Fall 2026 (September - December) to write front-end and back-end code that drives ITRG products. This role offers hands-on experience within a product development team, contributing to production code, and learning from Senior Developers to strengthen technical and professional skills. The company provides impartial, highly pertinent IT research to CIOs and IT leaders, serving over 30,000 professionals with actionable tools and expert guidance.

Requirements

Currently enrolled in a College Diploma or University Degree program with an active co-op component
Some programming experience through academic, personal, or hobby projects
Ability to program in at least one language (experience with Ruby on Rails is not required).
Basic familiarity with web development concepts and practices.
Ability to work effectively within project teams and contribute to shared goals.
Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with stakeholders and project owners.
Ability to analyze business requirements and develop appropriate technical solutions.

Responsibilities

Completes development coding and testing using Ruby on Rails.
Participates in sprint and feature planning sessions; analyzes product vendor requirements and helps design technical solutions.
Participates in code reviews to ensure code quality, maintainability, and adherence to development standards.
