About The Position

The 2027 Co-Op Program is designed specifically for students currently enrolled in an accredited Bachelor’s or Master’s degree program in Engineering and other industries. This program offers the opportunity to apply classroom knowledge to hands-on projects that support innovation in filtration design, manufacturing, testing, operations, among others. Atmus Filtration Technologies is a global leader in filtration solutions that support cleaner, more efficient engines and industrial systems. Formerly part of Cummins Inc., Atmus is now a standalone, publicly traded company delivering innovation across on-highway, off-highway, and industrial markets. We’re looking for future engineering professionals who are excited to solve real-world challenges in a collaborative and fast-paced environment.

Requirements

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in related field.
• Expected graduation date of December 2027 or later
• Available to work full-time during one of the 2027 terms (Spring, Summer, or Fall)

Nice To Haves

• GPA of 3.0 or higher
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication and collaboration abilities
• Interest in manufacturing, product development, or sustainable engineering
• Prior internship, research, or hands-on experience (not required)

Responsibilities

• Design, model, and test filtration components and systems
• Support manufacturing process improvements and cost-saving initiatives
• Collect and analyze engineering and test data
• Apply lean principles and continuous improvement techniques
• Use engineering tools such as CAD, MATLAB, Python, or Minitab
• Participate in project teams with engineers, technicians, and operators
• Present findings to technical teams and leaders
• Contribute to sustainability, safety, and quality initiatives
