About The Position

KPMG in Canada is seeking undergraduate business, commerce, and accounting and finance students pursuing their CPA designation to join their St. John's Office as a Winter 2027 Co-op/Intern within the Audit Practice. As a member of the audit and assurance team, interns will have the opportunity to work directly with leading companies, understand their processes, and help them meet evolving financial reporting standards and regulations. KPMG offers audit and assurance services to a variety of clients, including public, private, and not-for-profit organizations. The intern and co-op program aims to develop future leaders through challenging work, authentic client project engagement, and broad skill development via KPMG's learning and development opportunities. National Power Up programming will offer opportunities to learn from leaders, network with other students, and collaborate with professionals. Requirements

  • Pursuing an undergraduate degree in business, commerce, accounting, or finance.
  • Pursuing a CPA designation.
  • Working to obtain CPA required pre-requisite courses at a post-secondary institution.
  • Strong academic record.
  • Commitment to achieving Canadian CPA designation.
  • Ability to build collaborative relationships and establish strong internal and external relationships.
  • Ability to develop and motivate others, engage others, instill confidence, and coach people.
  • Ability to take opportunities to learn and adapt, using insights and self-reflection to build capability and embrace new challenges.
