CMA CGM is offering a Co-Op opportunity in Finance for students seeking hands-on experience in a dynamic, fast-paced, and international business environment. This Co-Op provides the opportunity to get involved, collaborate with finance professionals, contribute to meaningful projects, and gain exposure to the financial operations that support a global organization. The selected candidate will support the Finance team with reporting, analysis, reconciliations, and day-to-day financial processes while learning more about the shipping and logistics industry. This is an excellent opportunity for a student who is analytical, detail-oriented, and interested in developing practical experience in corporate finance, accounting, and business operations.

Requirements

  • Must be enrolled full-time in an accredited university undergraduate or graduate program
  • Must be available to work 20–40 hours per week from September through December
  • Must have a strong interest in Finance, Accounting, or related business functions
  • Must have a viable interest in potential future employment with CMA CGM or one of its affiliates
  • Must be eligible to meet all CMA CGM pre-employment qualifications

Responsibilities

  • Support the Finance team with day-to-day financial and accounting activities
  • Assist with financial reporting, data analysis, and preparation of summaries
  • Help with account reconciliations, invoice tracking, and expense review
  • Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities
  • Assist in maintaining accurate financial records and documentation
  • Compile and organize financial data for internal reporting and decision-making
  • Partner with cross-functional teams to support finance-related requests and process improvement initiatives
  • Contribute to special projects and other duties as assigned
