About The Position

This is a 6-month co-op opportunity for individuals currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree at Philips' site in Latham, NY. Through this role, participants will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company. The role involves conducting and performing test activities in a laboratory environment, collaborating with design engineers, documenting design inputs and outputs, assisting with vendor coordination for prototype creation, and analyzing and addressing mechanical design issues.

Requirements

Currently pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas of study: Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Design Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related.
Must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.

Responsibilities

Conduct and perform test activities within a laboratory environment.
Collaborate with design engineers by receiving instructions and offering constructive feedback.
Document design inputs and outputs comprehensively.

Analyze and address issues pertaining to mechanical design, providing effective solutions as needed.
