About The Position
Are you interested in an co-op opportunity with Philips? We welcome individuals who are currently pursuing an undergraduate (BS) degree to participate in 6 month co-op opportunities at our site in Latham, NY. Through this role you will gain meaningful, hands-on experience working for a HealthTech company.
Requirements
- Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in one of the following areas of study: Chemistry, Materials Science, Materials Engineering, Chemical Engineering, Bioengineering, Design Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related.
- You must be able to successfully perform the following minimum Physical, Cognitive and Environmental job requirements with or without accommodation for this position.
- US work authorization is a precondition of employment. The company will not consider candidates who require sponsorship for a work-authorized visa, now or in the future.
Responsibilities
- Conduct and perform test activities within a laboratory environment.
- Collaborate with design engineers by receiving instructions and offering constructive feedback.
- Document design inputs and outputs comprehensively.
- Assist and coordinate with vendors for prototype creation.
- Analyze and address issues pertaining to mechanical design, providing effective solutions as needed.
