We are thrilled to be looking for our next co-op candidate to support our project controls team with a focus on cost. This role will support our major projects within our civil east division in the GTA. This is an 8 month co-op opportunity.

Requirements

• Currently in a University/Technical College pursuing Civil Engineering or Construction Management
• Understanding of project management, project controls or cost engineering processes
• Good communication and organizational skills are essential
• Experience with Microsoft Word, Advance Excel, Outlook and Power Point
• Proven track record of good performance and attendance
• Basic presentation skills

Nice To Haves

• Bilingual in French is an asset

Responsibilities

• Provide support to the project team for project control activities with a focus on cost
• Work with various stakeholders to gather and disseminate risk related data
• Assist and support Risk Director, Project Managers and Project Controls Analysts with risk analysis, benchmarking and document initiatives
• Present findings to the projects team when required
• Analyze historical project risk information and manage and maintain risk registers
• Work with the different functional groups to provide benchmarking information and feedback on risk management accuracy, and support development as required
• Performs other duties and responsibilities as required
