About The Position

Reliable Equipment Manufacturing Co. is seeking a full-time CNC Set-Up Machinist to support growing production needs. The company manufactures and assembles tools and consumable components for the electrical utility industry in the United States. This is a safety-sensitive position. Candidates offered the position must successfully pass a background check, including criminal and drug testing. Requirements

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• At least 3 years of machining experience.
• Ability to lift 40 pounds to fill bar loaders.
• Must successfully pass a background check, including criminal and drug testing, if offered the position.

Responsibilities

• Set up and run production on DMG MORI, NAKAMURA TOME, and MAZAK machines.
• Edit and update programs for jobs as required.
• Fill bar loaders for turning centers, lifting up to 40 pounds.
• Prepare parts for inspection and/or subsequent operations.
• Use inspection equipment properly and validate that parts conform to requirements.
• Maintain machines and the workspace, including filling coolant and way oil and removing chips and debris.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
