About The Position

Dauphin Precision Tool, LLC is seeking a CNC Turning Lathe Operator for its production facility in Millersburg, Pennsylvania. The role involves setting up and operating production machinery and equipment. The successful candidate will train on first shift before working the third-shift schedule of 8:00 PM to 6:30 AM, Monday through Thursday. The company is willing to train the right individual. The ideal candidate is mechanically inclined; trade school or prior machining experience is preferred, and experience with measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers is a plus.

Requirements

High school diploma or GED.
Detail-oriented.
Understanding of production and plant processes.
Familiarity with Microsoft Office products, including Outlook, Excel, and Word.
Good math skills.
Ability to follow written and oral instructions.
Ability to work in a team.

Nice To Haves

Previous machine operating experience in a manufacturing facility or similar relevant experience; the employer will train the right individual.
Trade school or prior machining experience.
Experience using measuring tools such as calipers and micrometers.
Mechanical aptitude.

Responsibilities

Set up machinery for operation.
Adjust machinery as necessary to improve performance.
Operate machinery and equipment according to instructions.
Troubleshoot issues and perform daily maintenance.
Perform quality control, follow reporting and recordkeeping procedures, and report problems to a supervisor.
Comply with safety and health regulations.
Clean machinery and maintain cleanliness in the work area.
