About The Position

Under the supervision of Assistant Plant Manager, this position is responsible for operating the CNC machine(s); and it is responsible for supporting and demonstrating the Core Values of Integrity, Safety, Respect, Customer Focus, Quality, Innovation and Financial Success. Performs other related duties as assigned.

Requirements

High School Diploma or equivalent
Ability to work independently and efficiently with attention to detail.
Basic reading, writing, and mathematical skills.
Must be able to make reasonable decisions.
Predictable and Regular attendance is required.

Nice To Haves

Further technical training in CNC operation and CAD drafting preferred.
Familiar with Rhino 3D and CAD software preferred.
Experience in VCarve/Aspire software preferred.

Responsibilities

Operate CNC machinery to produce high-quality parts by programming, setting up, and running the machine.
Prepare and modify files on CAD and Rhino 3D to ensure precision in manufacturing processes.
Regularly perform maintenance tasks on CNC machines to ensure optimal performance.
Maintain a clean and organized work environment, ensuring all equipment and materials are stored properly.
Work between production and drafting to evaluate what pieces can be put into CNC production.
Prepares stock materials for machining.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues with CNC machinery and software.
Keeps records as requested by supervisor.
Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvement.
Adhere to all safety policies and procedures in the workplace.
Performs other duties assigned inside and out of the assigned department.
