About The Position
Advance CNC Machining is seeking an experienced CNC 4 & 5-Axis Set-Up Machinist for their Aerospace & Defense Machine Shop in Grove City, Ohio. The company is a growing $20 million business specializing in high-precision machined parts for various industries. They are looking for an individual who is enjoyable to work with and demonstrates effectiveness, ownership, and drive to meet rising demand. The role involves providing accurate setup expertise while embodying accountability, resourcefulness, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Strong ability to read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and CMM data, including GD&T.
- Proficiency with precision measurement tools including calipers, micrometers, height gauges, and more.
- Strong understanding of CNC programming.
- Knowledge of CNC machines
Responsibilities
- Setting up CNC machining centers for production
- Creating first article parts for verification
- Supporting CNC Operators during production runs
