About The Position
Advance CNC Machining is seeking an expert-level CNC Programmer for their Aerospace & Defense Machine Shop in Grove City, Ohio. The company is a growing $20 million business specializing in high-precision machined parts for various industries, including aerospace and defense. The ideal candidate will be enjoyable to work with and demonstrate effectiveness, ownership, and drive to meet rising demand. The role involves providing accurate programming and execution while embodying accountability, resourcefulness, and collaboration.
Requirements
- Ability to write excellent CNC programs
- Minimum of five years of Mastercam software experience for 4- and 5-axis CNC
- Minimum of five years of experience as a CNC Setup Machinist
- Experience with Makino milling machines
Nice To Haves
- Experience with Vericut software
Responsibilities
- CNC programming using Mastercam for 4-axis and 5-axis horizontal and vertical platforms
- Programming Makino milling centers with automation
- Fixture design, tool selection, and setup sheets
- Collaborating with Production and Quality groups to ensure quality machined parts
