About The Position

Advance CNC Machining is seeking expert-level CNC programmers for remote, contract work on a job-by-job basis. The role involves creating quality CNC programs for 4-axis and 5-axis horizontal and vertical Makino milling centers with automation. Compensation is to be determined and may be hourly or per job. Hours are extremely flexible, provided the programmer is available to make adjustments in a timely manner.

Requirements

• Ability to write excellent CNC programs.
• At least five years of Mastercam software experience for 4-axis and 5-axis CNC milling machines.
• At least five years of experience as a CNC Setup Machinist.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with Vericut software.

Responsibilities

• Write CNC programs using Mastercam 2027 for 4-axis and 5-axis horizontal and vertical Makino milling centers with automation.
• Design fixtures, select tools, prepare setup sheets, and verify programs.
• Collaborate with Production and Quality groups to ensure quality machined parts.
