CNC Programmer

Lamsco West•Santa Clarita, CA

About The Position

The CNC Programmer supports manufacturing operations by developing, testing, and optimizing CNC programs for 3-, 4-, and 5-axis machining centers. Using Mastercam 2025/2026, the role creates accurate and efficient machining processes for aerospace components, tooling, and fixtures. The programmer collaborates with Production, Engineering, Quality, machinists, and other machine-shop personnel to support new-product introduction, resolve manufacturing issues, improve cycle times, and ensure programs produce parts that meet drawing and quality requirements. The position develops machining methods, operation sequences, toolpaths, and setup documentation; supports workholding and tooling design; validates and proves out programs; troubleshoots machining issues; and maintains controlled program files and revision history. It also contributes to corrective actions and continuous improvement in safety, quality, and productivity, while following company safety requirements, using required PPE, and maintaining an orderly work area according to 5S principles.
