About The Position

IMA North America is seeking a full-time CNC Operator/Machinist to join their team. This role involves setting up, programming, and operating HAAS machines, as well as general machine shop equipment like Bridgeport, millers, lathes, grinders, and drill presses. The primary goal is to produce parts to required tolerances and meet customer specifications, emphasizing attention to detail for quality assurance.

Requirements

Ability to read blue prints.
Strong time management skills.
Good communication skills.
Ability to work under pressure and multi-task.
Strong attention to detail for safety and precision.
5+ year’s experience manufacturing parts.
1+ year’s experience supervising staff in a similar environment.

Nice To Haves

Haas experience a plus

Responsibilities

Create and maintain production schedules to achieve on-time delivery.
Programs CNC equipment to create customer specific parts.
Operates equipment for fabrication of customer specific parts.
Clearly understands job specifications and tolerances. Communicates with management and follows procedures to ensure quality fabrication to meet customer needs.
Follows all safety rules regarding machine operation and proper guarding. Makes safety a priority at all times.
Maintain reports on work order status including quantities produced.
Works on different equipment to carry out multiple phases of the production process.
Cross train on machining and part assemblies within the Change Parts department.
Checks work for accuracy.
Additional duties as assigned.
