About The Position
As a CNC Programmer 1 at MKS, you will partner with the Machine Shop to program and set up CNC equipment to fabricate a variety of precision parts. You will report to the Operations Manager. The role includes programming new products, updating existing programs, ensuring correct machine operations, and making program adjustments as needed. Additional work may include supporting operations through Continuous Improvement Project submissions, tool calibration programs, and flowchart creation. Minimal travel may be required.
Requirements
- At least 2 years of CNC programming experience.
- Machine shop experience.
- Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of higher mathematics involved in applying engineering principles and performing related operations.
- Completion of a formal apprenticeship program.
- Experience with SolidWorks and CAM.
Nice To Haves
- Laser welding experience.
