What You'll Do As a CNC Operator at our Avon Lake facility, you’ll be a vital part of our machining team. You will operate CNC machines and machining centers to produce high-quality metallic and nonmetallic parts according to specifications. Your role is focused on machine operation—you won’t be responsible for machine setup—but you will ensure parts are fabricated accurately and efficiently. Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED required
  • Ability to read and comprehend blueprints, diagrams, and written instructions
  • Basic shop math skills
  • Experience with micrometers, calipers, or other precision measuring tools
  • Strong attention to detail and quality
  • Effective communication and teamwork skills
  • Physical ability to stand, bend, twist, reach, and lift up to 40 lbs. regularly
  • Willingness to learn and follow processes carefully

Responsibilities

  • Operating CNC and other machining equipment according to standard operating procedures
  • Make Adjustments as necessary in vary CNC equipment.
  • Reading and interpreting blueprints, sketches, and part specifications to verify dimensions and tolerances
  • Inspecting finished parts using micrometers, calipers, and other precision measuring tools
  • Documenting production and inspection results as required
  • Maintaining a clean, organized, and safe work area
  • Following all safety protocols, including proper use of PPE
  • Adhering to work schedules including start/end times, breaks, and cleanup periods
