About The Position

Flynn Group of Companies is looking for a CNC Operator for their Glazing Fabrication department. In this role, you will be responsible for creating unitized curtainwalls for building projects across North America. The position is located at their Mississauga Branch. This role reports to the Glazing Production Manager.

Requirements

Ability to read a Tape Measure to 1/16th " or 1 mm.
Ability to confidently read and interpret shop drawings/blueprints.
Mechanically inclined, with knowledge & experience of equipment, tool selection, optimum settings, understanding of how things work.
Ability to troubleshoot and attend to issues as they arise.
Shows interest and willingly strive to learn new skills; take on new assignments as the workload dictates.

Nice To Haves

Previous experience with CNC equipment and programming basic equipment.
Ability to work with a variety of saws, punch press, shears and other pneumatic equipment.
Ability to focus on agreed-upon priorities, pay attention to detail that ensures high levels of quality.

Responsibilities

Read and interpret drawings for machine setup.
Work with a variety of CNC Machines, including CNC Milling Machine.
Ensure high levels of quality and ensure productivity and on time completion of work orders assigned.
Program basic equipment, operate machines efficiently and provide continuous quality checks during the process.
Effectively use CNC equipment, perform routine maintenance, troubleshoot when problems arise.
Other duties as assigned.
