About The Position

The Dixon Group is seeking a CNC Operator to work at its Winchester, Virginia location. The role involves safely operating and maintaining CNC machinery to manufacture precision metal components. The operator will perform quality checks, adjust machine offsets, address minor machine issues, complete routine maintenance, adapt to rotating assignments, and record production data. Requirements

High school diploma or equivalent.
Prior experience operating CNC machines.
Ability to read and interpret blueprints.
Strong math skills.
Proficiency with precision measuring tools.
Strong mechanical aptitude and attention to detail.
Willingness to learn machine setup and continuously improve.
Collaborative, dependable team player committed to completing work safely and well.
Ability to stand for the duration of the shift and lift up to 50 pounds, with or without reasonable accommodation.

Responsibilities

Safely operate CNC machines using robot tables, fixtures, or hand-loading techniques to manufacture precision metal components.
Perform quality checks with measuring instruments such as calipers and gauges to ensure products meet drawing tolerances.
Adjust machine offsets and diagnose minor machine issues, making appropriate adjustments.
Complete daily maintenance activities to keep equipment operating safely and smoothly.
Adapt to rotating assignments as needed.
Accurately enter production data into the computer system.
