About The Position

Landscape Structures Inc. is hiring a working CNC operator who meets daily production standards. The role also assists with general equipment maintenance, on-the-job training, and troubleshooting quality and mechanical problems. The scheduled hours are Monday through Friday, 1:30 p.m. to 10:00 p.m. The position description covers the general nature and level of the work and is not an exhaustive list of duties. Requirements

• Previous experience with CNC or machine operating.
• Ability to handle repetitive lifting daily while using proper lifting techniques.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule and work 10-hour shifts for up to 4–6 months.
• Ability to maintain a dependable and reliable work schedule.
• Intermediate computer knowledge.
• General computer knowledge.
• Ability to understand and operate complex machinery.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and maintain a quality focus.
• Ability to rotate to other positions, read prints, take direction from multiple sources, and multitask.
• GED or high school diploma preferred.

Responsibilities

• Check parts for physical defects.
• Identify parts against prints to ensure correct identification.
• Load and unload parts from CNC machines.
• Route and finish parts to print.
• Assist team members with continually lifting and moving heavy parts throughout the day.
• Wear required personal protective equipment, including bump caps, steel-toe shoes, and safety glasses.
• Follow specific work instructions for assembly requirements.
• Clean the work area, including work surfaces, equipment, and floors.
• Understand QCDSM boards and participate in continuous improvement activities.
• Assist with general equipment maintenance, on-the-job training of personnel, and troubleshooting quality and mechanical problems.
