Be part of something bigger with Chromalloy! Chromalloy is seeking a skilled CNC Operator to set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines that produce precision aerospace components. This is a hands-on role for someone who takes pride in quality workmanship, thrives in a manufacturing environment, and understands the importance of accuracy, consistency, and meeting tight tolerances. You'll be responsible for machine setup, part inspection, and day-to-day production activities while ensuring work is completed safely, efficiently, and to specification. Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred
  • Ability to set up and operate CNC machining equipment
  • Experience reading blueprints and technical drawings
  • Proficiency using calipers, micrometers, gauges, and other measuring tools
  • Understanding of machining tolerances and basic shop math
  • Strong attention to detail, quality, and safety
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Ability to pass job-related skills testing
  • Blueprint reading and setup experience
  • Experience with calipers, micrometers, and gauges

Responsibilities

  • Set up, program, and operate CNC and conventional machines
  • Read and interpret blueprints, work instructions, and specifications
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials for production runs
  • Inspect parts using precision measuring tools to ensure quality standards are met
  • Make basic program edits and part adjustments as needed
  • Maintain production, quality, safety, and 5S standards
  • Support continuous improvement initiatives and additional production activities as needed
  • Set up and operate CNC and conventional machines
  • Read blueprints and production specifications
  • Perform machine setups, tooling changes, and basic program edits
  • Inspect parts and verify conformance to quality standards
  • Follow safety, quality, and production requirements
