About The Position

Piller Aimmco is hiring a full-time CNC Operator in Woodland, Washington. The role involves setting up and operating CNC vertical milling machines to manufacture injection molds and precision tooling components. The operator prepares workpieces, fixtures, tools, and offsets; runs established programs; monitors machining and equipment; inspects dimensions and tolerances; coordinates work across assigned machines; and helps maintain safe, organized shop operations. The schedule is Monday through Friday, 1:00 p.m. to 9:30 p.m.

Requirements

• Working knowledge of CNC milling, machine setup, workholding, and cutting tools.
• Ability to read machining drawings and setup instructions.
• Understanding of speeds, feeds, shop math, and precision measurement.
• Attention to detail and a commitment to checking work.
• Clear communication, dependable attendance, and willingness to work with the team to meet shop priorities.

Nice To Haves

• Two or more years of CNC milling experience.
• Experience with injection molds or precision tooling.

Responsibilities

• Set up and secure workpieces, fixtures, cutting tools, and offsets using drawings and setup instructions.
• Run established CNC programs and monitor machining conditions, tool wear, and equipment performance.
• Use micrometers, calipers, indicators, and other precision instruments to verify dimensions and tolerances.
• Coordinate machine cycles, inspections, and preparation for upcoming jobs across assigned machines.
• Recognize machining problems, make authorized adjustments, and communicate when additional support is needed.
• Help improve quality, reduce scrap and rework, and maintain a safe, organized shop.
