About The Position
CNC Operator Job Summary We are hiring a skilled CNC Operator with experience running and setting up CNC lathes and mills. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys hands-on machining work, takes pride in producing quality parts, and can work independently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.
Requirements
- Experience operating and setting up CNC lathes and/or mills
- Ability to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T
- Familiarity with precision measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, gauges)
- Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
- Attention to detail and commitment to quality
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
Responsibilities
- Set up and operate CNC lathes and milling machines
- Load programs, set tooling, and make necessary machine adjustments
- Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, and job travelers
- Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, and gauges to ensure quality standards are met
- Perform minor troubleshooting and adjustments during production runs
- Maintain a clean and safe work area
- Follow all safety and production procedures
