About The Position

Ascend Staffing is hiring a CNC Operator in Denver, Colorado. The position involves setting up and operating CNC mill and lathe machines to complete manufacturing tasks, following project specifications and technical drawings, monitoring machine operations, and checking finished products for accuracy. The role offers weekly pay of $19.00–$23.00 per hour, depending on experience, with an interview required. Direct deposit and debit card payment options are available.

Requirements

Experience operating Haas CNC machines.
Proven experience or education as a CNC operator.
Skill in operating CNC machinery and tooling, as well as precision measurement tools.
Ability to read and interpret mechanical documents and drawings.
Computer literacy, including a basic understanding of computer programming and CAD/CAM.
Mechanical aptitude and good math skills.
Good communication skills.
GED or high school diploma.
Able to pass a pre-employment drug screen.
Able to pass a background check.
Authorized to work in the United States.

Responsibilities

Run mill and lathe machines.
Set up and calibrate equipment and accessories for projects.
Prepare and operate CNC machines to perform tasks such as drilling, grinding, and milling.
Read blueprints and mechanical drawings to understand task specifications and desired results.
Translate instructions into computer commands for machine operations.
Monitor machines during operation and make adjustments as needed.
Inspect and measure finished products to verify they meet requirements.
