About The Position

Advance CNC Machining is hiring a CNC Operator to produce high-precision machined parts that meet quality standards. The company serves customers in equipment manufacturing and the food, pharmaceutical, aerospace, and defense industries. The posting lists an off-shift schedule: 2nd shift, Monday through Thursday from 4:00 PM to 2:30 AM, or a weekend shift, Friday through Sunday from 7:00 AM to 7:00 PM. Pay is up to $25 per hour depending on experience, with a $2,500 sign-on bonus paid in two installments: $1,250 at 90 days and $1,250 at six months. Employment is conditional on successfully completing a pre-employment drug screen and criminal background check.

Requirements

• Mechanical aptitude and strong problem-solving skills.
• Ability to read blueprints and understand basic GD&T.
• Experience with precision measurement tools.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.

Nice To Haves

• CNC machining, machine operation, mechanical, maintenance, or manufacturing experience.
• Experience with 4- or 5-axis Makino machines is highly preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate Makino 4- and 5-axis CNC machining centers, many with automation.
• Read and interpret blueprints, drawings, tolerances, and CMM reports.
• Load materials, change tools, and make offsets.
• Inspect parts using calipers, micrometers, CMMs, and other precision measuring equipment.
• Complete production and inspection documentation.
• Maintain a clean, safe, and organized work area.
