About The Position

Chromalloy is a global engineering & solutions company and a leading provider of aftermarket parts, repairs, and solutions that safely & reliably extend the life of aircraft engines and gas turbines. We develop, manufacture and repair critical turbine components for a range of engine platforms, supporting the engines running the aerospace, energy and defense industries around the world. This is a hands-on role where quality, attention to detail, and safety are essential to success. The position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs, including evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws. Due to government regulation, only US persons may be considered for this role. Chromalloy participates in E-Verify. Any offer of employment will be conditioned upon the successful completion of a background investigation and drug screen.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or equivalent
  • Ability to read and follow work instructions and specifications
  • Experience using precision measuring tools
  • Basic math and mechanical aptitude
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Reliable team player with a safety-first mindset
  • US persons (U.S. citizen, U.S. naturalized citizen, U.S. permanent resident, holder of U.S. approved political asylee or refugee status) only

Nice To Haves

  • 2+ years of CNC machining experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Program, set up, and operate CNC and conventional machines
  • Load and edit machine programs as needed
  • Set up tooling, fixtures, and materials
  • Inspect and measure parts to ensure quality standards are met
  • Perform minor part modifications and finishing work
  • Follow production, safety, and quality requirements
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and efficient work area
