About The Position

A&R is seeking a CNC Mill Operator to join their team. This role involves working with ITAR controlled parts, requiring the candidate to be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder. The company offers training to advance to CNC machinist and Setup machinist positions. The position requires impeccable attendance and willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed. Requirements

  • 1 to 2 years of experience as a CNC Mill operator.
  • Experience with Haas and Fanuc controls preferred.
  • Experience with 4-axis Horizontal Machine Centers and 4-axis vertical mills desired.
  • Ability to perform basic program edits.
  • Ability to set tools.
  • Experience in the use of basic measuring tools (dial calipers, ID, OD micrometers, bore gages, thread gages).
  • Ability to understand SPC requirements and fill out SPC charts.
  • Ability to perform 1st article measurements and fill out 1st article paperwork.
  • Ability to read and understand English to interpret blueprints, industry specifications and work order instructions.
  • Impeccable attendance.
  • Willingness to work overtime and Saturdays as needed.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen or Permanent Resident Card holder.

  • 5-axis experience.

Responsibilities

  • Operate CNC Mill machines.
  • Perform basic program edits.
  • Set tools.

  • Understand and fill out SPC charts.
  • Perform 1st article measurements and fill out associated paperwork.
  • Read and understand blueprints, industry specifications, and work order instructions.
  • Work with ITAR controlled parts.
