About The Position

The CNC Mill Machinist will run vertical CNC Mills and/or load and change out parts on CNC Mill Cells to produce product according to blueprints under the supervision of Senior Machinists. This is a non-exempt (hourly) position with a pay rate of $28/hr.+ DOE, plus a shift differential and a monthly bonus program that is paid when the company-wide monthly sales goal is reached. The schedule is Monday – Thursday 4:15PM to 2:45AM.

Requirements

6 months - 1 year experience operating CNC Vertical Mills or Horizontal Cell
Ability to follow written and verbal instructions
Basic knowledge of machining
Use of precision measuring tools
Use of 500# hoist and automatic drills or screwdrivers
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision
Strong communication skills and willingness to collaborate with others
Excellent work ethic, reliability, and consistent attendance
High attention to detail and commitment to quality
Ability to read and write in English

Responsibilities

Run CNC mills or assigned machining cells by loading raw material, changing out parts, and following setup sheets and work instructions.
Inspect first-article parts using appropriate measurement tools and submit to Quality Control when required.
Machine parts to blueprint specifications, verifying dimensions and tolerances throughout the run to ensure accuracy and consistency.
Perform secondary operations such as tapping, deburring, cleaning, and part finishing as needed.
Carry out additional machining or production tasks as assigned to support workflow and production goals.
