We are looking for CNC Mill Machinists to join our 1st shift in Tualatin, OR. (7:00AM - 3:30PM) This role involves applying commonly used concepts, practices, and procedures on a Vertical or Horizontal Mill. The machinist will review work orders, drawings, engineering plans, materials, specifications, and machining parameters to produce parts according to customer blueprints and instructions. Key responsibilities include determining dimensions and tolerances of finished work pieces, understanding the sequence of operations, and setting up requirements per drawings, specifications, or sample parts. The ability to read and interpret CNC programs to maintain close tolerances (within +/- .0001) is essential. The machinist will observe machine operation to detect malfunctions or out-of-tolerance machining and adjust controls as needed. This role also involves performing machine set-ups for other operators on production and prototype parts, and under general supervision, setting up and operating CNC Mill machinery, making offsets to programs as necessary, and monitoring parts to ensure machines are operating properly.
