About The Position

The Machine Maintenance position will have the authority and responsibility to accomplish the duties as described below. Installation of a wide variety of machine tools and other manufacturing equipment. Diagnose, plan, and execute repair on machine tools in a thorough and efficient manner. Perform preventive maintenance on machine tools and other manufacturing equipment. Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams to diagnose and perform repairs. Strong understanding of machine tool programming languages and PLC. Conform to all requirements of Seyer Industries Quality System and any and all customer invoked quality requirements (AS-9100, for example). Continuously seek opportunities for improvement to enhance efficiency and organization (6s). Work well within a team to achieve minimal downtime of manufacturing equipment.

Requirements

• Mechanical maintenance and repair
• Knowledge of CNC machining equipment
• Read and interpret technical manuals and diagrams
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities
• Consistent and dependable attendance
• Strong understanding of machine tool programming languages and PLC
