About The Position

Looking for an experienced CNC repair Maintenance Technician to join our team! This position is primarily responsible for the troubleshooting, repair, and maintenance of CNC machining centers and other machinery in our production environment. As part of the maintenance team, this position also would be responsible to assist with building maintenance and other maintenance tasks as assigned. This is a day shift position 7 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. schedule M-F /Saturday 7 - noon. Must be available to work overtime as needed for emergency repairs or projects.

Requirements

  • Maintenance Tech with 4+ years experience with CNC machine repair, ability to troubleshoot machine breakdowns and repair.
  • Should have mechanical skills in pneumatics, hydraulics, and electrical.
  • Ability to read mechanical and electrical prints.
  • Should have basic computer skills with Microsoft Office and Excel.
  • Able to meet physical requirements of position
  • Must be available to work a 58+ hour workweek including Saturday and some Sundays may be required.
  • Must be able to read, write, and perform basic mathematics.
  • Capable of communicating both orally and in written form with co-workers.
  • Capable of using hand held tools.
  • Organized, responsible, and capable of multi-tasking.
  • Capable of interfacing with various personalities at all levels of our organization.
  • Meet physical requirements of forklift / crane operation (vision, distance judgment, etc.).
  • Must be able to work on ladders and lifts in high, precarious places

Responsibilities

  • Perform mechanic skills including, but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machines.
  • Diagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustments.
  • Ability to diagnose and rectify problems with equipment that may have incomplete documentation.
  • Provide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine service.
  • Read and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and service.
  • Perform regular preventive maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilities.
  • Perform a variety of plumbing maintenance and carpentry functions as necessary for building maintenance.
  • Use a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing duties.
  • Perform other maintenance tasks as assigned by manager.
  • Comply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areas.
  • Operate forklift and crane.
